037 no can see



"Caras vemos, corazones no sabemos." Faces can be seen, hearts cannot be known. Spanish proverb.

So just as "Sing the Magic Mulberry" and the other silkworm pieces are about the archetype of women as mothers, this series also run along an archetypal theme: The Suffragette. the graphic-feel of the pieces and the incorporation of texts are inspired by the propaganda posters back in the early 20th century, when women fought for equality and the right to vote. the sayings/proverbs/thoughts chosen here are both about change and tradition.
